Expand Your Shichirin Cookbook

Wait, what's a Shichirin?

You may already have seen these as they are taking the world by storm but just in case, here's the cliff notes (don't worry your secret is safe with us!). All you need to know is in Japan, somebody created this fun and compact charcoal grill that makes amazing yakitori and gained popularity in the 60's then most recently spread all over the world. The name of this amazing revolutionary invention is “Shichirin” and these are indeed the ideal way to make mouthwatering Japanese and Korean style BBQ.

The taste and texture of the meat will be improved resulting in optimum juiciness due to these special grills’ high thermal efficiency and construction out of diatomaceous earth . Though they are undoubtedly wonderful for personal use and private parties, today they are often found all over Japan in Yakiniku BBQ restaurants where you actually grill the meat yourself with at least one other while drinking refreshing draft beer together. No doubt if you are aiming for authentic flavors, these grills are the way to go.
